I did what I swore up and down and upside down and all around town I would never do.
I flaked out on NaBloPoMo, a challenge to crank out a blog post every day for a month.
I missed a day early on. Just one day. The day that all of the forces in the universe came together and said, you’re just not picking up your laptop today.
So what did I do?
Instead of giving myself a break, instead of just shrugging my shoulders and picking up where I left off, I stopped. I stopped trying to post daily, or even thinking about posting. I stopped even considering myself a part of the NaBlo challenge.
Missing the post wasn’t the failure. Giving up was.
